Greetings, “Without you with me” ( Original )   Composer : Mr.Richard Stoker – U.K. Flute & Voice: Mr.FluteFreedom - India Video : Was shot at Bali on Gili Meno Island. Special thanks to my friends who shot the video Sun rise by Mr.Jannes Eggen - Germany ( Professional video grapher ) Sun set by Ms Fanfan - China & Mr.Tom - U.K Video Links : https://youtu.be/jGFY8ZrwQTM Mr.Richard Stoker : Fellow of the Royal Academy of Music - Associate of the Royal College of Music LONDON - UK (Composer, Conductor, Actor, Author, Artist)   Mr.Richard Stoker’s story on this composition :   "This was composed for Mr.FluteFreedom  for his new film on waves. The music is inspired by the feelings I get contemplating the beauty of the sea shores, sands, waves and tides throughout the world. It is inspired also by the beauty of the high-pitched woodwind instruments such as flutes, recorders and Indian flutes. An essential stimulus is Mr.FluteFreedom’s rich talent on the beautiful instrument."   History of the Song : Based on the success of the “Monody of waterfalls, Whisper of waves“ video, as I was chatting with Mr.Richard, saying what if someone finds the melody interesting and writes lyrics to it, to make the melody famous, Mr.Richard immediately wrote the lyrics and sent them to me. He called it “Sing and Speak to me“. I waited nearly two years, hoping to find a female singer who could sing the melody, then finally I had to sing it myself, and also re-christened it “Without you with me”. You can now hear & see the results. Lyrics :  'What's the good of seas and sand if you are never there to speak to me -- to me - and sing and speak to me and sing to and [walk/stroll/wander] tramp on the Sands ...  Won't you come with me, come to the sea? What's the good of sea and song and sand, WITHOUT YOU WITH ME? '  Thanks for watching Love & Peace FluteFreedom

Hello Greetings, I am sharing below the link of my new video https://www.youtube.com/edit?o=U&video_id=M_bmibUi1dM ttps://youtu.be/M_bmibUi1dM https://vimeo.com/173861459 ”Anjuna Beach Blues” This 'Bansuri' music, with complementary images of nature in the video is played to create a spiritual experience, to take you into a meditative state of mind by switching off the left side of your brain, provided you listen to it under Candle or lamp light. 'Anjuna Beach Blues' is a tribute to all my friends with whom I have rich memories of this Beach. I am sure the melody will take all you music lovers there. Thanks to Dr. Len Anderson – U.S.A. my Guru, for encouraging me and for giving me ideas to create this melody. Thanks to my friend Mr. Vasant Naik ( Nana ) and his staff of 'Avlon Sun Set Café', as the video was shot opposite his Café in Anjuna. Please download and play on your Home Theatre as the recording is done to suit Home Theatre. Enjoy the “Spiritual Experience of Bansuri” History of the song : “Elk River Blues” I’ve always loved this song- Elk River Blues- by a fiddler named Ernie Carpenter. He wrote it while depressed about his lifelong-home on the Elk River in West Virginia being flooded when Sutton Lake was made in the 1950s. Carpenter’s family had lived on the Elk since the 1700s. He had hired a lobbyist, sued, taken every road he could to save his home and couldn’t. For several years while the dam was constructed, he played a cat-and-mouse game with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers after the area was closed off. After they closed the main roads, he came via backroad, and as the feds found his backroads in, they closed them off one by one. After his homeplace was forever underwater, he wrote Elk River Blues. Coincidentally I was talking to amazing fiddler, guitarist, singer and songwriter Jesse Milnes- he of Sweetback Sisters fame- about this song at the annual Christmas show the Sisters play at Jalopy Theatre. He told me it was actually his father, Gerry Milnes, who suggested the song’s name to Carpenter. How cool! Posted by TAXIDRIVERSAID.COM West Va. fiddler Ernie Carpenter wrote this tune while thinking about his family's long-time home which was about to be lost due to the government's plan to dam the Elk River and flood the area. I played this song by creating a backing track & in bit of jazz style & changed the name Appreciate your sincere comments & feedback thanks Love & Peace V.MOOGI

Richard Stoker Indo Blues ( Original ) Composed by : Richard Stoker – UK Guitar & Percussion : Francesco Mega – Italy Bansuri & Video : Vinod MOOGI – India Video Links : https://youtu.be/nF2T456ssqQ STORY: The " R STOKER INDO BLUES" was filmed as a tribute to the English composer & Actor by Vinod Moogi, in January 2016 and recorded in different places .... it is part of the West meets East set of films they are both working on together... The Blues is not that well known in India, so it was a good occasion for Vinod Moogi to interpret a Blues style on his instrument with his colleagues. The freedom of the Blues is very close to the free interpretation of Indian Music in general. I further improvised & beat boxed to make it sound different. Richard Stoker : FRAM, ARAM, ARCM, LONDON, UK (Composer, Conductor, Actor, Professor of Composition RAM 1962-1984, Mendelssohn Scholar) Guitar : Francesco Mega - Italy Francesco Mega, born in 1960, is an Italian guitarist and composer living in Tuscany. He interviewed Ravi Shankar for a magazine article. He has appeared in many films as an actor, and has also composed film music. He has collaborated on several projects with Vinod Moogi in his atmospheric films and instruments. Somali Panda : India, Vocalist, she is A Sangeet Visharad in Hindustani Classical Music from Vatkhande Sangeet Vidyapith, Lucknow and has taken lessons in Rabindrasangeet from the late maestros Subinoy Roy and Arabindo Biswas. Guitar : Francesco Mega - Italy Francesco Mega, born in 1960, is an Italian guitarist and composer living in Tuscany. His favourite genres are folk, jazz, progressive and song writing. He has already collaborated on a few music videos with me. Lyrics & Story behind the Song : " WILL YOU EVER LOVE ME” (Original) (VERSES) " YOU SEE ME - YOU HEAR ME - ARE YOU EVER NEAR ME ? I SEE YOU - I HEAR YOU - DO YOU EVER NEED ME ? WHERE ARE YOU NOW IN THE DIMMING LIGHT ? YOU SEE ME - YOU HEAR ME - WILL YOU EVER NEED ME ? I SEE YOU - YOU HEAR ME - WHERE ARE YOU NOW IN THE DIMMING LIGHT ? YOU SEE ME - YOU HEAR ME - WHY ARE YOU NOT NEAR ME ? I HEAR YOU - I SEE YOU - WILL YOU EVER LOVE ME ? " Richard Stoker has composed 6 flute melodies for me which I have played and created videos. The first creation was “Monody of Waterfalls” (Original), which grew out of a conversation we had one day. I said, what if somebody likes this melody and writes lyrics to it? He liked this idea, and he immediately wrote some Romantic lyrics himself, inspired by views of Indian seascapes. He suggested I might find a female vocalist. I wanted to make this a unique blend of Western and Indian classical music, so I chose my friend Ms Somali Panda, who liked the melody and lyrics and was glad to do the project. She and her recording friends from Kolkatta have put their hearts into the song. I and Mr. Richard are very grateful to them. So here we are with the outcome of our project. Please enjoy the music with headphones and please share your comments. Hello, Greetings, “Playing to the MOON” Sharing the link of my Flute video which is an Indo-Dutch collaboration of Bansuri & Piano https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-W1bs_KS4J8&feature=em-upload_owner https://youtu.be/-W1bs_KS4J8 https://vimeo.com/139435129 Piano : by Mr.Ernst Stolz of Hague Netherlands. Professional musician performing many live concerts He has 1700 videos Bansuri & video : by Vinod MOOGI of India. Special Thanks to my Guru Dr.Len Anderson, for his support. Brief on the Song : In the background you can hear chanting of Mantra “Om” so a short story on “Om” below The moon. All planets round the sun. Each of the above bodies revolves round at its own axis as well. Our sun along with its family takes one round of the galactic center in 22.5 crore years. All galaxies including ours are moving away at a terrific velocity of 20,000 miles per second. OM BHUR BHUVAH SWAH: Bhur the earth, bhuvah the planets (solar family), swah the Galaxy. We observe that when an ordinary fan with a speed of 900 RPM (rotations Per minute) moves, it makes noise. Then, one can imagine, what great noise would be created when the galaxies move with a speed of 20,000 miles per second. This is what this portion of the mantra explains that the sound produced due to the fast-moving earth, planets and galaxies is Om. The sound was heard during meditation by Rishi Vishvamitra, who mentioned it to other colleagues. All of them, then unanimously decided to call this sound Om the name of God, Pls. use head phones to enjoy good sound quality. Love & Peace Vinod MOOGI

“MOOGI Blues” ( Original ) Composer : Dr.Len Anderson – U.S.A Guitar & Accordion : Francesco Mega – Italy Flute & Video : Vinod MOOGI - India Dr.Len = U.S.A. ( from Ohio ) , has been playing all the wind instruments for more than 50 years. He is a retired Director of a music school & travelled around the world in Cruise ship performing live. He is my Guru & Mentor. Story of composition :Dr.Len, was giving me online tips, how to play blues, but he had no Idea what kind of flute I had, until I recorded each note on my Bansuri & sent him, that was not enough, finally I gifted him a Bansuri. Only after receiving the Bansuri, he realised, that it was dia-tonic flute & not chromatic, like silver flute. He understood my limitations of playing blues with Die-tonic flute, then he composed this Blues melody & named it “ Moogi Blues” that was my blues. I wanted this blues to have psychedelic effects of Wood Stock, so I have played with those effects & used psychedelic images as background. Guitar & Accordion : Francesco Mega - Italy Francesco Mega, is an Italian guitarist and composer living in Tuscany born in 1960. His favourite genres are folk, jazz, progressive and song writing. He is my Guru & mentor I thank him for advising & guiding me all along. Pls. see below what he has got to say about my music Unquote : Sounds good....it's all personal taste...you have to be the ultimate one who is satisfied......and have fun......and don't let critics disway you.....like I have always said, the Bansuri is so very limited in the number and range of notes it can play....your desire to play western music using it is commendable.....what you produce is NOT the composition, but rather an interpretation of the piece....you are inspired by a composition and recreate a Bansuri rendition of the composition as you interpret it....absolutely nothing wrong with that....if some one ever says your Bansuri performance is NOT the composition, just say that you were inspired by the original composition and knowing the limitations of a Bansuri flute's construction, you try to create a sound that reflects the composer's intent.....no one can argue with that.....just have fun..... Quote : Please enjoy the music with headphones and please share your comments, as they are most welcome. Thanks Love & Peace Vinod MOOGI

Greetings, “Sonnet of Rainbows” ( Original ) Composer : Mr.Richard Stoker – U.K. Harp : Ms Donatella - Germany Flute & Video : Vinod MOOGI - India Video Links : http://youtu.be/llwd4_7YFBg https://vimeo.com/111189576 Mr.Richard Stoker : Fellow of the Royal Academy of Music - Associate of the Royal College of Music LONDON - UK (Composer-Conductor /Actor / Author / Artist / etc.) Mr.Richard Stoker’s story on this composition : Richard Stoker's “Sonnet of Rainbows” was composed for Vinod Moogi. It is based on an earlier piece for flute solo. It is meant to communicate with the audience and viewers directly -- what IS music if it does not reach a wide and sympathetic audience with much "Love, Melody, Harmony and Joy". Vinod Moogi is that rare thing, a dedicated artist to his fingertips, able to interpret my wishes as a composer. This recording is launching on 8 November 2014, Richard Stoker's 76th birthday -- all good wishes for a Very Happy Birthday and successful coming year! Ms Donatella – Germany : She discovered the celtic harp about 12 years ago and hasn't stopped playing since. She soon got in touch with the spiritual dimension of this instrument, and beside playing tunes, she also started exploring improvisation to "hear" its voice, which she says feels like letting the harp play her, instead of her playing it. She also explored meditative music the same way. She is a passionate musician. After watching some of my videos, which she liked and found fascinating, especially “Monody of waterfalls”, she got in touch with me through a German friend of mine and expressed her interest in playing with me. Now you can see and hear the results. Dr.Len Anderson- U.S.A, : Retired music school director & plays all the wind instruments. He is my Guru & mentor I thank him for final editing of my mix. Please enjoy the music with headphones and please share your comments, as they are most welcome. Thanks Good day Love & Peace Vinod MOOGI

Greetings, “Whisper of waves” ( Original ) Composer : Mr.Richard Stoker – U.K. Harp : Ms Donatella - Germany Flute & Video : Vinod MOOGI - India Video Links : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JRkoStvtrwI https://vimeo.com/89373009 https://myspace.com/vinodmoogi/video/whisper-of-waves-original-/109515397 Mr.Richard Stoker : Fellow of the Royal Academy of Music - Associate of the Royal College of Music LONDON - UK (Composer-Conductor /Actor / Author / Artist / Director / Coach etc.) Mr.Richard Stoker’s story on this composition : This was composed for Vinod Moogi for his new film on waves. The music is inspired by the feelings, I get contemplating & seeing the beauty of the sea shores, sands, waves & tides throughout the world. It is inspired also by the beauty of the High - pitched woodwind instruments such as Flutes, Pic's, Recorders, Indian flutes & their instrumental families & an essential stimulus is Vinod Moogi's rich talent on the beautiful instrument. RICHARD STOKER - Ms Donatella – Germany : She discovered the celtic harp about 12 years ago and hasn't stopped playing since... Soon she got in touch with the spiritual dimension of this instrument, and beside playing tunes, she also started exploring improvisation to "hear" its voice, which she says feels like letting the harp play her, instead of her playing it. She also explored meditative music the same way. She is quite a passionate musician. After watching some of my videos, which she liked and fascinated her, especially “ Monody of water falls”, she got in touch with me through a German friend of mine and expressed her interest of playing with me. Now you can see and hear the results. Please enjoy the music with head phones & please share your comments, as they are most welcomed. Thanks Good day Love & Peace Vinod MOOGI

“On Raglan Roads” “The Dawning Of The Day” Made popular by “Van Morrison” The confusion caused by the two titles of this song can be traced back to the different previous history of the tune on one hand and the words on the other. The tune, known as Fainne Gael an Lae, strictly meaning The Bright Ring of Day, probably originates from the seventeenth century blind Sligo harpist Thomas O'Connellan. In 1847 Edward Walsh scored an eighteenth century poem to this air and the song Fainne Gael an Lae, by then translated as The Dawning of the Day, was born. The popularity of this song rocketed when a masterly interpretation by the famous Irish-American tenor John McCormack, of the The Dawning of the Day was used in the 1937 film Wings of the Morning. Pls use headphones as recording level is low Good day Love & Peace Vinod MOOGI

Greetings “Morning Has Broken” Traditional Gaelic tune, popularised by Cat Stevens This well-known Christian hymn was first published in 1931 with words by Eleanor Farjeon and a traditional Gaelic tune known as “Bunessan”, from the name of a small village in the south of the island of Mull, on the west coast of Scotland. “Morning Has Broken” shares this tune with the 19th century Christmas carol “Child in the Manger”. Mary M. Macdonald, who lived near Bunessan and who spoke only Gaelic, wrote the hymn to this melody; when the words were later translated into English, the melody was named after the village by the translator. Pop and folk singer Cat Stevens included a version of “Morning Has Broken” in his 1971 album Teaser and the Firecat. The song became identified with Stevens when it reached number 6 on the US pop chart. The song has also been recorded by numerous other artists, including Neil Diamond, Art Garfunkel and Nana Mouskouri. Pls use headphones to listen as recording level is low. Good day Love & Peace V.MOOGI

Hi Greetings, Our pet Blackie ( Labrador ) passed away this morning. He was 8 yrs old. Hope his soul rests in peace. ... I am sharing the link of the Flute video I had created with him. Blackie is gone but his memmories shall linger on. "Scarborough Fair" B) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0skpl1WX6-4 A)http://wikicafe.metacafe.com/en/4578750 Why I made this video ? First time when I played the flute, I was just warming up. Blackie came from nowhere yelping & jumping near me as I played on. It was totally a strange reaction. You must be knowing that the Scientist who invented Gramophone, had his pet react strangely to his voice coming from the Gramophone. That made them use their pet as their logo. It was called "His masters voice". This is what made be involve "Blackie" in the video. If you see him in the first picture, it is similar to the logo of "His masters voice". He is alomost kissing my flute. Love & Peace V.MOOGI
