You Got A Way With My Heart - I grabbed my guitar and started playing a simple acoustic riff and 2 hours later another love song dedicated to my wife. I had to deal with some computer problems and after 24 hours recorded it. So many songs and poems written about this thing called love and yet, in many ways, it remains undefined. Luv

It's Really Love - An original written while I spent 2 months writing in Panama Beach, FLA. I was a staff writer for ATV Music Group at the time. Written as a laid back, medium tempo ballad. By the graces of Doug Luther'o high energy guitar work. I had an intense up tempo scorcher. I had a little falsetto fun at the end.

Footprints In The Sand - [Re-mastered] Of all the songs I've written since January 2018 when I got the feeling back in my left hand after having 4 discs fused in my neck, this is the one I'm proudest of. There are many emotions. If every song was positive, up tempo the creative spark would be limited. Mac Davis was right - Song painter - Writing with all the colors of the emotional rainbow to connect with humanity.

Her Hands Around Your Heart - I started out writing a song about how guys should be careful how they treat their lady. The image of a woman's hands around a heart squeezing with loving fondness crossed my mind. I wrote it from the view of someone on the outside looking in. Truthfully, you should be gentle to your lady.

Our American Heritage - I lost the lyric over the years and could only remember bits and pieces. I re-wrote the verses and recorded it. I am very pro-Native American/American Indian. When we played Cowboys and Indians when I was young, I was always an Indian. My mom's mom was full blood and her dad half breed.Taken along with my father Cajun/Heinz 57 bloodline, I am quite the blended human. I believe I fell instantly in love with my wife because she looks like an Indian Princess.

Shaman’s Song - On Mount Rushmore are 2 white men who owned slaves, one white man who did the right thing and proclaimed their emancipation and was murdered, and one white man whose most famous act was charging up a hill. This is a song about a Native American from Oklahoma who got drunk and ended up on the roof of a bar on the Strand in Galveston. It's a semi-true story of a man who did not want to fly like an eagle. Injustice can be blind too. Our country is governed by false, soulless prophets. The wiping out of American Indians (Columbus made a mistake!) was genocide. Our dark past
